Hrithik Roshan Dance Clip

I like this dance by Hrithik Roshan because it's very original and has a western twist to it but also has very traditional bhangra dancing in it. It makes the dance look more mordern and a bit different the traditional bhangra. It is a party and a celeabration so all the moves are big and over the top. It's also an upbeat dance to reflect the mood of the party.

The western twist makes the dance original but it also look very good with the traditional bhangra. The dance is also telling a story because you can see a connection between Hrithik Roshan and the girl watching. This is telling us that they like each other and he is trying to impress her.

In our Bhangra dance we decided that we were going to put a western twist to our bhangra. This meant twisting our Bhangra moves and making them more street like. This made it our own but also made it easier for us becuase we know street dance a lot better than we do bhangra.

Hrithik Roshan

Hrithik Roshan was born in 1974, his father Rrakesh was a film star so he grow up around people who were making films. He also wanted to follow his father into acting in films. He first appeared in a film made by his Granddad when he was only a child. He got a degree in business and his parents wanted him to carry on with his education. However he was determined to become an actor so he took acting classes without telling his parents at first. His father had become a producer and because he wanted to know everything about films he helped his father with the production of some of his films. In 2000 his father gave him the lead role in a film called ‘Kaho NaaPyaar Hai’. He became a big success start away and many directs wanted him for their films. He won two Filmfare awards for his very first film which were best newcomer and best actor. Hrithik became a huge heart throb and women loved him. So there was a lot of disappointment when he married his long term girlfriend in December 2000. After that some of the films he was in were not so successful but he carried of working hard to prove himself again. In 2004 he made another film with his father which was another big hit. His career has gone on to make him one of the most successful Bollywood actors. Not only was he a very successful actor but like all Bollywood stars he is an excellent dancer.
